I once washed my hands, but left the sink running. I knew I might need to go back.
I went back and didn't learn anything new.
I said, 'it's possible; I did it. Maybe things are different now.'
And they were never different.

Recently, I felt like I was a bad friend for not forcing change. I've heard you can't make people change, but I've also heard of 'tough love' and 'being there.' I stopped being there.
I stopped being there and those tears were guilt for that.
